Summary:

Bush are little rubber or polyurethane linings that cushion noise, friction, and movement. Typically found in suspension, rack & pinion systems. They are found in every joint of the system, and though small and seemingly insignificant, they play a very big role and their absence can be felt. A car’s suspension system is made up of metallic parts, so even with the shock absorbers, you are going to be feeling the vibrations. This is why bushes are so important. They soak up vibrations and limit the amount of contact between metals.

Solution:

Stability Automation has developed a Special Purpose Machine to inspect the part before the it is packed and sent to the end customer. In this way the Human Errors will be eliminated. This Machine consists of the following below parts:

1. Conveyor System: The Conveyor system is used for the smooth operation of the inspection. On the Conveyor, Fixtures has been attached to put the product in the direction of Vision Sensor. The conveyor speed is controlled by VFD and the speed of the conveyor can be seen in HMI. The operator can increase and decrease the speed according to the requirement.
2. Automation System: The automation system consists of PLC, HMI, VFD. The PLC controls the whole machine and in the HMI the operator can select the variants of the product for Inspection. From the HMI we can generate Shift wise or Day wise reports also. VFD is used to control the speed of the HMI.
3. Vision Sensor: Vision Sensor is used for the Bush inspection. This Vision Sensor helps the operator to know the Bush is present on the product or not. And the status can be seen in HMI. Through Ethernet Communication the data will be sent to PLC and also for stopping and giving alarm when the Bush is not present on the product.

In the Car, Bush is most important part in the joints as it absorbs the Vibration and Shocks for the smoother ride.
