Mechatronics is a technology that combines mechanical and electronics technology into a harmonized system with the aim of boosting automation in manufacturing plants. You’ll notice that mechatronics is closely related to other engineering technology fields. This kind of technology entails integration of both mechanical and electronics engineering concepts into a compact system.

Solution:

Under this mechatronics lab we have developed three Kits and they are:

Start Delta Kit: Which is used for to gain the knowledge on motor terminal connections of start delta wiring connections and the way of contactor pickup. Especially the operators who are working in electrical department will gain the knowledge on star delta operation.

• Advance Plc Training Kit: The main aim of this kit is to improve the knowledge on the Industrial automation devices and the way of the operation and working principle. In advance plc training kit all different types of I/O’S are given like Digital I/O’S, Analog I/O’S and Remote I/O’S. Allen Brandley PLC, Siemens PLC and VFD’S are used.

• IOT Training Kit: In this Kit, we can connect all the above kits and send the data to the cloud. We have used a Gateway, to collect the data using standard protocols and through this we can send the data. And customizable dashboard has been developed according to customer requirement.

Mechatronics provides the bridge manufacturing needs, by combining engineering in its various forms with technical and mechanical skills.  Engineers can use classes in mechatronics to cross over into manufacturing with ease
