Summary:

For a modern world the machines are modernized with simple technology of low cost which makes the customer satisfaction & good productivity with high performance. The mattresses which are made with foam need to cut automatically by using the automatic foam cutting machine to avoid the dependence on labor & increases time.

Solution:

To make the mattress the foam has to cut in accurate sizes. In HMI the sizes will set and option are provided in HMI. The Operator will select the required sizes which has to be cut. The operator places the foam on round table & when the cycle starts the round table will rotate and at the center a Blade will be present. While moving the round table the blade will cuts foam accurately and smoothly.

In this application we have used two servos, Limit Switches, and VFD. The servo motor helps to maintain the accurate length. Limit Switches will give the End to End Cutting of the Foam. The VFD is used to maintain the speed of the round table (i.e., constant speed). With this process, we can reduce the errors, cost, increase the cutting speed, accurate measurements, and simple process.
