We have developed the program for Industrial Bun Conveyor System. Automation products such as S7-200 PLC, HMI, etc… were used in this project. We programmed the PLC to automated the sprinkling of ingredients.

When the operator presses the start button conveyor starts running. Then a bun tray is placed on a moving conveyor belt, when the bun tray reaches to the water spray sensor position, water sprinkles on the bun tray. Now the tray moves forward to second sensor where sesame (baking material) powder is sprayed and finally it moves to the third sensor where corn grit (baking material) powder is sprayed on the bun tray. The above process repeats continuously until operator keeps bun tray on conveyor belt.
