Summary:

Pharmaceutical formulation is defined as the process in which different chemical substances are combined to produce a final medicinal product. PID controlled Based Temperature controller, to control Formulation process and to maintain the quality and coefficient.

Solution:

A Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) Controller is used to control the Temperature in the Formulation process.We have implanted the PID Controller in Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD) Machine. In FBD machine air is introduced to heat the required temperature by the heaters. At this stage the solid bed looks like the boiling liquid, therefore this stage is called as Fluidized. Use of hot air to fluidizing the bed will increase the drying rate of the material. According to the Temperature the air flow is generated by the Fans fitted on the machine. We have used temperature sensor to know the temperature inside the machine and we have used VFD to control the speed of the Fans.

In the HMI we will set the required Temperature of the FBD machine. And according to the temperature, the PID Controller will control the speed of the VFD which is controlling the speed of the FAN. A required temperature is set to increase the product Quality, efficiency and coefficient.
